Senior Linux System Administrator

Job Description

• Manage and maintain Linux-based virtualized environments (VMware, KVM, Xen).
• Implement, configure, and manage hypervisor solutions.
• Optimize performance and manage virtual machine (VM) lifecycle (deployment, scaling, troubleshooting).
• Integrate Linux systems into a broader virtualization infrastructure for enterprise solutions.
• Automate virtualization tasks using tools like Ansible or Puppet.

Job Requirements

• BSc. Degree in computer science.
• Minimum 7-10+ years in Linux system administration.
• Extensive experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, KVM, Xen, or Hyper-V).
• Proven ability to integrate and manage virtualized Linux infrastructures.
• Certifications:
• VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or similar certifications for hypervisors (e.g., KVM or Xen).
• Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or RHCA (Red Hat Certified Architect).
• Linux Professional Institute Certification (LPIC-2 or higher).
