An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Therapist to join the Spa team at Jumeirah Al Qasr. Your key responsibilities will include:- Carry out spa treatments to the highest of standards.
- Ensure therapists are fully prepared for guests and consultation forms are used prior to the treatments.
- Monitor treatments ensuring they meet required standards.
- Address member and guest complaints or queries professionally.
- Provide a clean and safe environment within the Spa.
- Ensure all therapists comply with training protocols.
- Maintain treatment rooms and keep treatment costing and Menu Matrix updated.
- Achieve retail sales targets through personal consultations.
- Participate in continual training with product houses for all therapists.
- Motivate and train all Spa associates.
- Work with the Spa leadership team to optimize service levels.
- Conduct daily operational checks of treatment facilities.
- Track Spa therapist scores and create action plans as necessary.
- Liaise with maintenance and management to resolve issues.
- Participate in the creation and improvement of treatment protocols.
About you:
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications, experience, and skills:- 5 years of work experience as a Spa Therapist.
- 2-3 years of experience within luxury hospitality.
- Experience with cutting-edge technology in wellness.
- Experience in Spa sales.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to lead a team and coordinate a department.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Emotional intelligence and conflict resolution skills.
