Key Responsibilities

Operate and monitor equipment such as pumps, compressors, separators, and valves to control the flow of oil, gas, and water during production operations.
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks on production equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform minor repairs as needed, coordinating with maintenance technicians or engineers for more complex issues.
Collect samples of oil, gas, and water for analysis, and perform basic laboratory tests to monitor product quality and ensure compliance with specifications.
Monitor production parameters such as flow rates, pressures, temperatures, and levels, and adjust equipment settings as necessary to optimize production efficiency.
Assist with startup and shutdown procedures for production equipment, following standard operating procedures and safety protocols.
Maintain accurate records of production activities, equipment maintenance, and environmental monitoring data, and report any deviations or abnormalities to supervisors.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent. Technical training or certification in a relevant field preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in production operations, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
Familiarity with production equipment and systems used in oil and gas production, including pumps, compressors, separators, and control valves.
Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and address equipment malfunctions in a timely manner.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety, with a thorough understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
