Job Responsibilities
- Design and produce high-quality print materials, such as brochures, business cards, and banners, ensuring brand consistency throughout.
- Collaborate with clients and project managers to understand project goals, timelines, and specific design requirements, tailoring designs accordingly.
- Utilize advanced software like Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop to create compelling visual content that meets high printing standards.
- Prepare print-ready files by ensuring proper color modes, bleed, and resolution, minimizing errors during the printing process.
- Stay updated on current design trends and printing techniques to bring innovative ideas to projects and enhance visual appeal.
- Conduct pre-press checks and coordinate with printing vendors to ensure quality control and timely delivery of final products.
- Create templates for repeat projects to streamline the design process and maintain consistency across materials.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
- Provide feedback and guidance on design-related tasks to junior designers and interns, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Engage in client presentations to effectively communicate design concepts and rationale, ensuring client satisfaction with the final product.
Desired Candidate Profile
- A Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field is essential for understanding design principles and print processes.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) is a must.
- Familiarity with pre-press and print production processes, including file setup, color management, and print specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics, ensuring that designs are visually appealing and technically sound.
