The opportunity - Te tūranga As Audience Research Lead reporting to Head of Growth Marketing B2B, you will be responsible for managing audience research projects for the business; from design and implementation through to crafting insights and communicating implications. The Audience Research Lead is also the owner of the TVNZ audience panel and will drive the development of our voice of customer program. Your focus will be on:
- Be the internal research expert, drawing on your substantial quantitative skills and experience to provide specialist guidance on research initiatives across the business.
- Design, run and manage quantitative and qualitative audience research projects. Work closely with senior stakeholders across the business to initiate custom projects that drive business decisions.
- Manage the TVNZ audience community The Green Room.
- Lead the transformation of the audience panel into a voice of customer program to support the development of the TVNZ+ streaming service.
- Senior quantitative researcher, you have significant experience managing research projects end-to-end or running a voice of customer research program, either in an agency or client-side.
- Quantitative and qualitative research experience with the ability to present a clear narrative and implications for stakeholders.
- Expertise in questionnaire writing, scripting, deployment, sampling, analysis, and write-up.
- Presentation of results to internal stakeholders, senior business stakeholders, and external clients.
- Strong stakeholder management including internal business units, external research vendors, and clients.
- Ability to develop impactful and actionable recommendations in the form of reports, presentations, and workshops.
- Ability to use multiple research touchpoints and techniques to build compelling narratives.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with data.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office, statistical or market research analysis software (Q or Harmoni preferred), custom research applications (including panel management platforms and survey scripting tools), and strong data visualisation skills.
