As MLWD R&M Specialist III, you will assist with the development of a reliability-based maintenance strategy, focusing on preventive and predictive maintenance for the product line equipment. You will work directly with the Maintenance Manager to build a reliable system and maintenance team. Your primary activities will be at the workshop, troubleshooting, repairing, refurbishing, implementing mandatory modifications, and executing and/or planning preventive and corrective maintenance of field equipment and tools, helping to mitigate asset-related non-productive time and improve overall field service delivery performance. Attendance at client locations may be required to perform duties when an R&M task is deemed necessary for field operations. Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced repairs and maintenance on LWD tools and systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
- Conduct thorough troubleshooting and diagnostics on LWD equipment, utilizing both manual and computerized methods.
- Collaborate with field personnel to provide on-site technical support and training as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
- Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance schedules and procedures.
- Support the design and improvement of LWD equipment and tools by providing feedback and insights based on field experiences.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the team.
- Mentor and train junior technicians and other team members.
- Participate in project planning and execution, providing input on equipment selection and maintenance strategies.
- Stay updated on technological advancements in LWD systems and industry best practices.
- Works well within a team environment.
- Proven ability to function well under pressure.
- Intermediate/Advanced Excel & Word skills.
- Eagerness to learn and challenge existing processes.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, organization, analytical, troubleshooting, and teamwork skills.
- Positive attitude and a high degree of self-discipline and motivation.
- High School Diploma with relevant experience.
- 3-5 years of related experience in repairing and troubleshooting LWD Sensors and DS Tools.
