Business Function DBS Institutional Banking Group provides corporate customers with a full range of commercial banking products and services, including cash management services, current accounts, time deposits, trade finance, working capital finance, term loans and foreign exchange. Through our continued commitment, DBS has cultivated long-standing relationships with its customers in the region that are based on account relationship management, service differentiation, product development and rigorous credit standards. Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities Drive Strategic Partnerships & Collaborations
- Curate focused strategic partnerships with commercial outcomes, leveraging on data and digital capabilities for leads conversion and acquisition of new midcap and SME customers
- Manage strategic partners to accelerate midcap and SME customers' adoption of sustainable solutions and digital capabilities
- Drive regional sustainable financing take-up and increase market share of green asset portfolio; execute green initiatives, vertical and horizontal innovations for green business
- Drive the DBS ESG Ready Programme to connect green solution providers and partners to accelerate midcap and SME customers towards sustainability and net-zero ambitions
- Execute the DBS Spark GenAI programme to enhance adoption of generative AI solutions amongst SME customers
- Drive utilization of the DBS Sustainability Accelerator Tool to empower clients to achieve their sustainability goals and advance the bank's green agenda
- Provide support on administrative claims and processing of grants with Enterprise Singapore to ensure timely processing and disbursement of grants
- Develop and execute Business for Impact flagship programme to recognise, reward, and support businesses for impact, both social enterprises and small & medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), to expand SME lead generation base for new acquisitions and cross-sell SME products and services
- Develop marketing and communications plan to drive BFI package signups and liaise with DBS Foundation & Corporate Banking Product Teams
- Support DBS Foundation in driving social enterprises & sustainability agenda for SMEs
- Serve as point of contact for engagements with regulators, governmental agencies, industry associations, NGOs, and other relevant agencies/bodies where required, collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure appropriate responses and communication
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Environmental Studies, or any related fields
- Preferably 7-12 years of work experience in strategic partnerships and business development
- Strong business acumen with commercial-driven mindset
- Stakeholder management and communication skills, proven track record in managing internal and external stakeholders
- Track record of using data and digital capabilities to drive commercial outcomes
- Excellent market, business, and product knowledge in SME Banking, familiar with SME customer needs and SME competitor landscape, particularly in areas relating to onboarding and lending
- Exposure to business processes for lending and account opening would be advantageous
- Able to work independently, adapt quickly, and in a fast-paced environment
- Highly meticulous, detailed, and logical in thought processes and strategic thinking skills
- Awareness of project management tools and methodologies like AGILE, JIRA, Confluence
