Role Purpose Responsible for Transportation Department Products related issues. Job Accountabilities & Activities Local Sales Organization:

  1. To efficiently and in a timely manner place orders on Scania.
  2. To ensure that ordered units meet specifications, prevent mistakes in specs, and avoid delays in shipment.
  3. Ability to answer customers' and sales team's technical questions.
  4. Actively and efficiently answer product-related queries.
  5. To identify new segments with high potential.
  6. Generate reports on competitors' product range and their sales and marketing activities.
  7. To prepare tenders whenever needed actively and efficiently.
  8. To ensure our product features comply with legal regulations and avoid any non-compliance.
  9. Generate required calculation reports to professionally support the sales team.
  10. To receive ordered trucks from suppliers without mistakes regarding original specifications.
  11. To utilize available tools from suppliers to support the sales team.
  12. To improve the sales team's product knowledge and keep them updated with any developments from the supplier.
  13. Active participation in meetings, seminars, and local exhibitions in a professional manner.
  14. Liaise between sales and after-sales departments for smooth and efficient resolution of customer problems.
  15. To handle all homologation issues with local authorities.
Local Product Management in coordination with line manager:
  1. To handle online ordering and product follow-up efficiently and in a timely manner.
  2. Generate reports on newly developed customer demands.
  3. To monitor market trends and expected future transport developments.
  4. To keep management updated with competitors’ movements in the market.
  5. To maintain good contact with local authorities related to our industry to stay informed about legal issues.
  6. To be fully updated with sales tools introduced by suppliers.
  7. To maintain a high level of product knowledge to train the sales force whenever needed.
Liaise with local Body Builders:
  1. To handle all superstructure issues with body builders from obtaining offers to delivery.
  2. To efficiently support body builders with the needed information to facilitate their jobs.
  3. To successfully arrange and conduct seminars to improve body builders' knowledge about our products.
  4. To receive defect-free products.
Education & Certifications Graduate in Engineering. Required Years Of Experience 1 to 2 years of experience. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Office Automation products and their capabilities, such as Multifunction products (MFP’s), Point of Sales (POS), Barcode Printers (BCP’s), Large Format MFP’s, Managed Print Solutions (MPS). #J-18808-Ljbffr
