Business Intelligence Architect

Job Title: BI Architect presales Primary skills: Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, SAP BusinessObjects, Cognos and data modeling. Secondary skills: Databricks, SQL Server, Snowflake, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Python. Experience: 12+ Years of Experience Location : Hyderabad / Pune Responsibilities : · Strong SQL skills for querying relational databases and designing complex reports. · Proven experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, SAP BusinessObjects, Cognos) and data modeling. · Proven experience in migration of other BI technologies to power BI. · Proven experience in Power Automate, Power BI API and self-service reporting. · Strong knowledge of ETL processes, data integration, and data warehousing technologies. · Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)· Knowledge of data governance frameworks and data security practices. · Understanding of cloud data architecture and services (e.g., AWS Redshift, Google Big Query, Azure Synapse Analytics)· Familiarity with programming/scripting languages such as Python or R is a plus. · Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously. · Strong business expertise and the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements. · Mentor and guide junior developers in delivering high-quality analytical solutions. · Ensure scalability, performance, and reliability in all data modeling solutions. · Work closely with the sales and business development teams to understand client requirements, design tailored BI solutions and prepare technical proposals and demonstrations that effectively showcase the organization's capabilities. · Lead technical pre-sales engagements, including requirement gathering, solution architecture presentations, and Proof of Concept (PoC) development, to address client challenges and support the successful acquisition of new business opportunities. Requirements - Must Have: · 12+ years of experience, with at least 5+ years of experience in business intelligence data warehousing, or related fields. · Experience with Azure Synapse, Databricks, Data Factory, and other Azure services. · Proven experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, SAP BusinessObjects) and data modeling. · 5+ years of experience in power BI Automation and migration experience from other BI Technologies like Tableau, Cognos, Business Objects etc. · 3+ years of experience in Power BI Self-service reporting. · Experience with Power BI API, Power Automate, Paginated reports and Fabric. · Strong knowledge of ETL processes, data integration, and data warehousing technologies. · Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus. · Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. · Experience in P&C insurance is an advantage.
