Job Title: HR Administrator (6 months fixed term) Location: Drumcondra, Ireland (Hybrid/On-Site) Contract: Full-Time, 6 months Fixed-Term (9am 5pm Monday to Friday) Salary: €35,000 - €38,000 Depending on experience Closing date: 17th February 2025 at 5pm About Us Vision Ireland is Irelands national sight loss agency. Our team is passionate about making a difference, and we are looking for a HR Administrator to support our HR operations and contribute to our mission. The Role We are seeking an organised, professional, and detail-oriented HR Administrator to assist in the smooth running of HR functions. This role is ideal for someone early in their HR career who is eager to learn and grow in a dynamic charity environment. You will support recruitment, scheduling, compliance, and general HR administration. Key Responsibilities Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, scheduling interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers. Maintain and update HR records, ensuring compliance with GDPR and employment regulations. Support the onboarding and induction process for new employees. Assist with scheduling meetings and training sessions. Assist with scheduling meetings for the Chief People Officer. Attend meetings to take accurate notes and produce minutes in a timely manner. Preparing and coordinating reports, presentations, and meeting documentation. Contribute to the planning, organising and scheduling of staff conferences, events, and other HR-led initiatives. Handle general HR queries and provide administrative support to the HR team. Assist in drafting HR documents and correspondence. Ensure HR databases and systems are up to date. Support employee engagement initiatives and wellbeing programs. Assist with payroll administration and compliance as required. Skills & Experience Required Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in HR (internship/volunteering experience also considered). Strong organisational and scheduling skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Minimum C2 standard of English is required. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook - essential) and HR software (desirable). Knowledge of Irish employment law and HR best practices (preferred but not essential).
