- Establish valued relationships with external clients at the ‘C’ level.
- Solve clients' most difficult problems by bringing our solutions, strengths, and points of view to become their trusted advisor.
- Lead and support opportunity pursuits and practice business development initiatives, proposals, and thought leadership.
- Deliver strategic projects successfully, specifically in the Energy Sector; covering Oil and Gas and Utilities.
- Deploy leading industry standard frameworks.
- Manage multiple EY colleagues across levels and client team members and mentor them as they progress in their own career.
- Enhance our brand through strong external relationships across a network of existing and future clients.
- Develop and lead partnerships with our alliance partners (e.g. SAP, IBM, Microsoft, etc.).
- Lead with confidence to actively promote emerging platforms and share knowledge and best practices.
- Develop external eminence across the sub-capabilities in the energy space.
- Promote an effective forum for sharing Supply Chain and sector expertise.
- Approximately 12+ years of work experience covering the energy sector with capabilities and/or leadership experience and a proven track record of transformational experience to achieve positive outcomes and change in the organization.
- Prior Senior Manager/Director experience in consulting (Big Four, Strategy House or equivalent) or VP/Director experience in Utilities and Energy sector companies.
- Expert knowledge and understanding of the Energy sector.
- Proven track record of leading large scale business development activities.
- Willingness to relocate.
- A bachelor’s degree with an emphasis on Engineering, Business, Supply Chain or Logistics with strong academic records.
- Experience managing staff on multiple projects and providing direction to team members.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; preferably Arabic speaking.
- Experience in implementing Digital transformation or Technology platform solutions in the energy sector to enable Intelligent Operations.
- Experience in the Power and Utilities Sector in GCC.
- Experience with ISO 55001, asset management system framework, and energy audits will be an advantage.
- Represented your organization across leading forums as a qualified expert.
- Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, TQM, KAIZEN will be an added/preferred advantage.
