Senior Analyst, Hard Home- Cook & Dine

Experience- 5 years – 8 years Location- Bangalore Onsite- 5 Days Essential Functions

• Communicates with retail teams to align sourcing strategies, arrange buy trips, and manage critical issues during the order execution process.
• Oversees factory capability and capacity, product quality, and on-time delivery.
• Conducts supplier assessments and formulates the supplier matrix for an assigned category.
• Develops and maintains relationships with suppliers.
• Demonstrates awareness of trade and political issues for assigned geographies and incorporates into sourcing proposals.
• Understands buying objectives and product specifications and communicates with suppliers.
• Negotiates product and price and develops alternatives to achieve sourcing objectives. Identifies and resolves pricing and factory issues with suppliers.
• Partners with Merchandise Quality Engineers on problems related to quality.
• Presents sourcing solutions that mitigate risks while maintaining profitability.
• Collaborates cross-functionally with the various business partners and suppliers to understand business needs and priorities and develop optimal solutions to support.
• Collaborates with the Global Supply Management team to align order strategy. Leverages suppliers with different retail markets.
• Actively participates and drives various projects under the sourcing scope.
• Understands supplier capabilities, capacity, and performance. Plans factory visits to monitor production and assess factory capacity.
• Uses in-depth understanding of component pricing to provide cost-saving opportunities. Actively participates in order placement decisions.
• Leads sourcing initiatives/projects with cross-functional partners. Provides coaching/guidance to team members on sourcing activities.
• Continuously develops product and market knowledge and industry know-how. Applies digitalization and new ways of working during sourcing activities.
• Optimizes strategic sourcing and procurement processes. Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders; supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs; identifying and communicating goals and objectives; building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results; identifying and addressing improvement opportunities; and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning.
• Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy; and providing direction and guidance on applying these in executing business processes and practices
• Drive Sustainability in supply chain and packaging
• Evaluate supplier base across different CoOs like IN, VN, CB, ID, TH, Turkey, Mexico etc. to grow the business with focus in diversification.

• Skill Set: Proficient PC skills including MS Word, MS Excel, Power Point, Power BI.
• Total Experience of 5-8 years in sourcing with 3+ years of relevant experience in Cook & Dine categories.
• Proven experience in building a supplier matrix and tracking performance, strong component pricing skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills. Creatively able to develop alternative solutions to achieve product and business objectives. Strong ability to anticipate potential problems and take corrective action upfront.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant suppliers and factories around the world. Able to differentiate between various manufacturers on a broad range of parameters
• Possess natural curiosity to learn beyond the minimum requirements to perform role.
• Able to manage multiple projects and timelines and keep them on track.
• Data savvy: can identify sourcing solutions, analyze commodity trends, and translate results into strategies to support merchants.
• Passion for developing successful and complex businesses and have an attention to detail in the business fundamentals of sourcing, finance, and supply chain.
• Cost Analytics: Understand product component costing to provide cost-saving opportunities
• Drives continuous improvement initiatives in cost, quality, and delivery performance, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement best practices.
