Job Title: Pipe FitterDepartment: MEP ServicesJob DescriptionAs a Pipe Fitter, you will fabricate, assemble and install piping systems for plumbing, HVAC and related applications.Key Responsibilities:Measure, cut, thread, groove and weld pipe to specifications using appropriate toolsConnect pipes to valves, fittings, equipment and other componentsAssemble and install piping system infrastructure for mechanical roomsAdhere to design drawings, schematics and project plansEnsure proper slope, alignment and support for piping runsTest systems for leaks or other defects before approvalComply with all safety standards related to pipe fitting workLiaise with plumbers, welders and other tradespeople on siteQualifications:Pipefitting certification or extensive commercial experienceThorough knowledge of piping materials and joining techniquesAbility to read and understand technical diagrams/blueprintsProficiency operating pipe threading, cutting and welding toolsAttention to detail in measurements and installation qualityWillingness to work at heights on scaffolding as requiredStrong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skillsCommunication skills for collaboration on job sitesWe offer competitive wages, benefits and training programs.
