Wordpress Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with senior developers to assist in the design, development, and maintenance of web applications including websites.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using technologies like PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Work on WordPress themes, plugins, WordPress REST API.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving basic issues with WordPress themes, plugins, and React components.
• Implement responsive design principles to ensure websites work across devices and browsers.
• Learn and apply Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts to web development tasks.
• Use Git for version control, following best practices for code management and collaboration.
• Contribute to the testing and deployment of web applications.
• Stay up to date with emerging web technologies, particularly React and WordPress development trends.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science
• 1-3 years of experience in web development.
• Strong foundational knowledge in Basic PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Familiarity with WordPress themes and plugin development.
• Familiarity with WordPress template hierarchy.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and integrating them into applications.
• Experience with responsive design and understanding of mobile-first development.
• Knowledge of basic version control tools such as Git.
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
• Strong willingness to learn, grow, and acquire new technical skills.
• Should have good communication skills
