Strategic Growth Director for Academic Excellence - Manama - Gulf University, Kingdom Of Bahrain
About the Position: Gulf University in the Kingdom of Bahrain seeks a highly skilled and experienced Senior Executive Vice President for Operations to lead our administrative team. This key leadership role involves providing strategic guidance to the President on university-wide initiatives and proposing recommendations for improvement. Main Responsibilities:- Strategic Guidance: Provide expert advice to the President on university-wide initiatives, driving growth and excellence. Identify opportunities for process improvements and propose solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
- Departmental Oversight: Supervise staff activities in administrative departments, ensuring seamless operations and effective resource allocation. Oversee various departments including finance, human resources, IT, facilities management, and procurement.
- Process Enhancement: Streamline administrative processes, facilitating efficient accomplishment and securing required approvals. Collaborate with the development team to create and implement academic strategic plans.
- Financial Management: Oversee all financial matters, including collections, budgets, and expenditures. Ensure compliance with regulations and optimal resource allocation.
- Campus Maintenance: Manage buildings, grounds, repairs, construction, and remodeling projects to maintain a safe and conducive learning environment.
- Purchasing and Procurement: Supervise purchasing activities, ensuring compliance with regulations and optimal resource allocation.
- Staff Management: Directly manage staff salaries, benefits, visas, housing, and government personnel regulations, ensuring fairness and adherence to policies.
- Personnel Operations: Oversee recruitment, contracting, termination, training, development, and induction programs for administrative staff, as well as disciplinary actions.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit annual reports on administrative and financial operations to the president.
- A recognized Ph.D. from a reputable institution aligned with Article 39 of the HEC Resolution No. 206/2023.
- Suitable academic and administrative experience with a strong professional reputation.
- Ability to work collaboratively with senior executives and stakeholders to drive business growth and improvement.
