Report to Managing Director, manage all operations in India focusing on customer interfacing, talent acquisition and management, budget management, and supporting business development team with local insights to support company growth. Manage HR and administration team to maintain legal compliance, back-office management, manage employee welfare, accounting and financial overview. RESPONSIBILITIES Customer Focus Team Lead
- Maintain relationship with customer both for operation issue and technical advice. Be an escalation point and a one stop contact.
- Build a relationship with new customers.
- Facilitate customer requests for various subjects (laptop, software, travel, leave management, WFH management etc.)
- Review bi-yearly customer survey result with employees and lead the action plan initiative for continuous improvement.
- Work closely with account managers to retain clients.
- Support component sourcing and supplier selection program. Coach new team members to perform the tasks. Review report before publishing to customers.
- Maintain good image of SCRG and brand strategy.
- Support sales team with local insights input.
- Collaborate with legal firms to register for post compliance and obtain necessary operating licenses.
- Ensure full compliance with statutory requirements on a regular basis
- Establish and keep updating site procedure, set policy and processes to ensure it meets legal requirement.
- Source and identify a service provider for accounting and payroll and other essential services.
- Pricing comparison, vendor selection for all required services.
- Lead recruiting team to recruit resources to fill in customer vacant positions and internal positions on a basis of fast, fits requirements and cost competitive.
- Monitor staff performance, develop key performance goals, communicate with staffs about issues affecting their performance, trigger set of action for improvement, mentoring and coaching.
- Manage employee relations and staff welfare issues.
- Analyze trends in compensation and benefits of similar industries as a part of employee retention effort.
- Plan and review employee gathering activities to maintain and improve team morale and engagement.
- Budget planning, control operating budget and optimize expenses.
- Continuously look for opportunities for cost reduction.
- Maximize resource utilization and efficiency. Minimize idle time of recourses.
- Review monthly cash request from SCRG Inc. sufficient to support monthly operating expenses.
- Review and approve employee reimbursement. Make a necessary decision.
- Review and approve payroll. Authorize money transfer.
- Ensure correct expenses are sent to accounting for bookkeeping and is recorded under correct category.
- Review monthly financial report. Support request from corporate Accounting.
- Review annual financial audit.
- Review, and sign documents on behalf of employer.
- A degree is required with preference given to a major in engineering; an MBA is preferred.
- Experience in EMS business, Program management preferred. Fully understand manufacturing process from Supply Chain to technical perspective.
- 10 years' or more experience in management, preferably in an international business setting.
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to work with people at multiple levels both internal and external of the organization.
- 3+ years in customer interfacing role or familiar with customer relationship management.
- Good knowledge in India labor regulation, HR-related law. Able to suggest compliance recommendation.
- Experience as an entrepreneur, a self-starter business setup is a plus.
- Skilled in people management and recruiting.
- Attention to detail personality with teamwork attitude. Good communication in English and local language. Self-starter, a problem solver, solution provider.
- Exceptionally well organized and driven by success with a strong work ethic.
- Analytical thinker with superior problem-solving skills.
- Must be familiar with computer software programs e.g. Word, Excel etc.
