Industrial Electrician - Shift Work

Our Client is Ireland's Leading premier container terminal based in Ringsed Dublin. They are currently looking to hire an Industrial Electrician to join their site based in Dublin. The successful candidate will be working within a well-established Maintenance Team across a rolling shift pattern to carry out reactive maintenance efficiently, effectively, and safely. Job Responsibilities: Carry out hands-on maintenance work on electrical and mechanical equipment. Complete planned and reactive maintenance work in an effective and safe way. Work according to Safe Systems of Work for all activities when on site. Deliver a safe personal working culture. Carry out the shift workload as stipulated by the Engineering Supervisor. Attend to unplanned failures in a timely manner to meet reliability targets. Complete work progress sheets to identify work activity and delays. Report parts and materials deficits to the Engineering Supervisor without delay. Suggest tactical decisions to the Engineering Supervisor to stay on schedule. Demonstrate commitment to multi-skilled activity where appropriate. Have the ability to work unsupervised and plan effective use of their time when there is no supervision present. Cover the duties of the Engineering Supervisor as and when required. Job Requirements: Time Served of relevant electrical experience in a heavy industrial environment Electrical National Craft Certificate essential. An assertive individual who demonstrates a willingness to progress within the company. Demonstrated commitment to maintaining Health and Safety standards. Ability to work at Heights. Essential experience includes working on programmable logic controlled equipment, motors, motor controls, and variable speed drives.
