Job Title: Head Chef Nationality: Any Nationality Vacancy: 1 Vacancy Job Description

Role:

  1. Implementing and consistently monitoring the Health & Safety policies including the daily operational procedures.
  2. Lead, direct, and take the necessary decisions ensuring the best business practices; aligned with the standards of operations.
  3. Collaborate, participate, and develop future company strategies.
  4. Knowledgeable of operational budgets and periodically review with the GM.
  5. Natural problem solver with an exceptional positive attitude.

Operations:

  1. Deep knowledge of the Allergens Matrix; collaborate with Senior management to maintain updates.
  2. Ensure that all policies and procedures are followed up to the standards.
  3. Maintain the highest level of standards.
  4. Full knowledge of local and Health & Safety laws.
  5. Fully versed on the food hygiene manual of the venue.
  6. Organize continuous Health & Safety development training levels enforced by local laws and their requirements.
  7. Work closely with the management team and employees to improve a positive moral, work environment, and retention.
  8. Take prompt action on maintenance issues to ensure a safe environment.
  9. Manage annual leaves/holidays strategically reflecting business needs.
  10. Participate in all management meetings.
  11. Collaborate with HR and management for team building initiatives.
  12. Involved in and lead future departmental employee development plans.
  13. Monitor onboarding and roadmap processes.
  14. Collaborate on the recruitment process.

Communication:

  1. Ensure transparency and clear communications across the team.
  2. Collaborate with the GM in resolving disputes and disagreements within the teams.
  3. Efficiently and positively respond to both negative and positive feedback, working with the GM to compile responses accordingly.

Culture Management:

  1. Ensure team members feel valued, encouraging and assisting them.
  2. Promote and implement training to ensure team growth.
  3. Ensure the entire team follows all internal policies, rules, and operational procedures.

Requirements and Skills:

  1. Italian nationals' applicants only.
  2. Proven experience as Head Chef in Italian restaurants.
  3. Exceptional proven ability in kitchen management.
  4. Outstanding communication and leadership skills.
  5. Good understanding of POS systems.
  6. Credentials in health and safety training.
  7. Degree in Culinary Science or related certificate.
