Company Overview Our client is a leading construction company specializing in project management techniques to oversee the planning, design, and construction of projects ranging from mini-scale to larger scale construction projects. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget, the company is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its executive team. Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CFO to oversee all financial aspects of the company. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing financial strategies, managing financial risk, and ensuring the company's financial performance is optimized. The CFO will work closely with the CEO, executive team, and other stakeholders to drive business growth, improve profitability, and maintain the company's financial stability. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies to drive business growth, improve profitability, and maintain financial stability. Prepare and manage the company's annual budget, financial forecasts, and cash flow projections. Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly management accounts, quarterly financial statements, and annual financial reports. Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, laws, and standards. Develop and maintain relationships with external auditors, bankers, and other financial stakeholders. Ensure compliance with the company's risk management policies and procedures. Manage the company's cash flow, funding requirements, and treasury operations. Foster a culture of financial discipline, transparency, and accountability within the organization. Collaborate with other executive team members to drive business growth, improve profitability, and maintain financial stability. Qualifications and Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance. Professional certification in accounting or finance (e.g., ICAN, CPA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA). Minimum 10 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role such as CFO or Finance Director. Experience in the construction industry or a related field is an advantage. Proven track record of success in financial management, strategy development, and team leadership. Strong financial management and accounting skills, with expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop finance professionals. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including executives, employees, customers, and suppliers. Proficiency in financial software and systems, including accounting, budgeting, and forecasting tools.
