Position: SQA Engineer/Test Analyst (Mid/Senior Level)

Overview: The SQA Engineer/Test Analyst is responsible for testing and certifying every aspect of a software application, either new development or upgrading/changes to an existing software application and certifying that the software application post any change is fit for purpose and meets all specifications, user requirements, and compliance issues. Responsibilities:

1. Work effectively with the Software Development team to produce the required results.
2. Participate with other key staff/Contractors in the specification and development of new e-Tools applications.
3. Ensure that e-Tools applications are presented in a manner that assists with ease of use by the user and aids marketability.
4. Ensure all e-Tools software applications are thoroughly and methodically tested before commercial release.
5. Document all testing procedures and outcomes.
6. Provide feedback where appropriate on areas of improvement in the software.

Requirements:

1. Must have experience in manual, web, and mobile applications testing.
2. Experience of creating manual and automated test cases.
3. Ability to derive test cases from functional/technical designs.
4. Ability to quickly gain a working knowledge and understanding of the company’s products.
5. Minimum 6 years’ experience in testing software applications as a Test Analyst in a commercial environment.
6. Maintain test case suites for functional and integration coverage that test microservices/service-oriented architecture, the GUI-based application, and non-GUI-based services.
7. Experience with estimating, prioritizing, planning, and coordinating testing activities.
8. Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts; solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.
9. Knowledge/experience with Selenium, Postman, or similar.
10. Experience with performance, load, scalability, and stress testing of applications using JMeter.
11. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum delivery environment.
