Senior Project Manager

Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of complex project streams while managing client expectations and leading a diverse team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and proven expertise in managing multi-functional teams to deliver on-time, within scope, and within budget. You will be responsible for ensuring alignment between business objectives, client needs, and technical deliverables while driving project success. Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Execution:
   • Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining timelines, resources, and key deliverables.
   • Manage multiple complex project streams concurrently, ensuring milestones are achieved.
   • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external clients to ensure project alignment with business objectives.
   • Track and manage project budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost control.
2. Client Relationship Management:
   • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining clear communication on project progress, risks, and deliverables.
   • Proactively manage client expectations, addressing concerns and providing timely solutions.
   • Conduct regular status meetings with clients, keeping them informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
3. Team Leadership and Collaboration:
   • Lead and motivate a diverse project team, including developers, designers, testers, and business analysts, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.
   • Provide coaching, mentorship, and guidance to team members to support their professional growth.
   • Ensure clear role definition, task assignment, and accountability within the team.
   • Promote cross-functional collaboration to solve problems and deliver high-quality outcomes.
4. Risk Management:
   • Identify project risks and dependencies early, developing mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
   • Maintain a risk register and ensure that key risks are communicated to stakeholders.
   • Address project roadblocks promptly, adjusting plans as needed to maintain project momentum.
5. Stakeholder Engagement:
   • Engage with senior leadership and other key stakeholders to ensure project alignment with strategic goals.
   • Provide regular updates and reporting on project status, risks, and performance metrics.
   • Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration to drive success across multiple workstreams.
6. Quality Assurance:
   • Ensure that all project deliverables meet high-quality standards and are aligned with client expectations.
   • Conduct regular reviews of project outcomes and implement improvements where necessary.
7. Change Management:
   • Manage change requests and ensure they are communicated, evaluated, and implemented effectively within the project plan.
   • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to handle changes in scope while managing timelines and resources effectively.

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
• 8+ years of experience managing complex, multi-functional projects, with at least 5 years in a senior project management role.
• Proven expertise in managing diverse teams across various disciplines (technical, creative, operational).
• Exceptional client management skills , with a strong track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills , capable of managing multiple stakeholders and ensuring alignment across teams.
• Strong leadership abilities with a demonstrated ability to motivate and lead teams to achieve results.
• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall , and hybrid project management methodologies .
• Experience with project management tools .
• Ability to manage and mitigate risks effectively, ensuring minimal impact on project deliverables.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly preferred.

• Experience managing global teams across different time zones.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to problem-solve under pressure.
• Familiarity with cloud-based technologies and software development processes.
