Senior Designer

Role Type: Outsourced, Full Time, On-Site, Short Term Contract Duration: 6 Months Work Location: Dubai, UAE Job Purpose: Develop and create Exhibition Designs and Design concepts with Rationale, mood Boards, Layouts and presentations that best match the brief. All Designs produced need to be a collaboration with Sales and the estimator along with Creative input from Design Piers. All designs need to meet the company standard and have relevance and novelty in regards to matching the Brief. Work Conditions:
- Work will primarily be at the office; however, some visits may be required from time to time.
- Office-based job; requires working longer hours on the computer and sometimes overtime or weekends depending on projects and the existing workload.
- Senior Designers are required to take ownership of the design execution (3D renders, costing documents, material/furniture/lighting specification, sample boards, final presentation, and printing or animation if required) of the assigned project so it aligns with the client brief.
- Collaborate with Design Piers, Strategists, Graphic Designers, Estimators, Sales, and technical teams to create the best solution/presentation for the client.
- Adhere to company workflows set by Traffic Management and Piers to ensure project delivery.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with exemplary project time management.
- Utilize in-house stored inventory to offer cost savings where relevant.
- Work closely with Production on the delivery of the project by assisting with graphics, final renderings for installation, specification of materials to be used, and quality control of onsite deliverables.
- Research industry standards and suggest implementation of current trends.
- Prepare collateral and catalogs of internal inventory.
- Taking structured advice on design from Design Piers is essential for growth.
- Review technical drawings before they go to production.
