Job Description: We at Almoajil - Building Material Solutions are looking for a Door Hardware Estimator who is responsible for reviewing project specifications, preparing accurate cost estimates, and coordinating with teams to ensure the successful execution of door hardware projects. This role requires technical expertise in door hardware systems, strong analytical skills, and the ability to optimize costs while maintaining quality standards. Key Responsibilities:

Cost Estimation: Thoroughly review project blueprints, specifications, and related documentation to provide precise cost estimates for door hardware materials, labor, and installation services.
Bid Preparation: Prepare and submit detailed, competitive estimates and proposals for clients, contractors, and project managers, ensuring all project requirements are addressed.
Specification Review: Evaluate construction documents to ensure that all door hardware specifications are accurately captured and reflected in the estimate. Develop compliance sheets to align project specifications with provided quotations and offers.
Project Coordination: Collaborate closely with different team members to ensure the timely selection and delivery of materials required for each project, while monitoring project progress and addressing any concerns that may arise.
Cost Optimization: Identify and recommend cost-effective alternatives or solutions to meet budget constraints, while maintaining adherence to quality standards and project requirements.
Technical Support: Provide expert technical assistance to the design team, clients, and contractors concerning door hardware systems, installation methodologies, and product specifications.
Report Management: Maintain detailed records of all estimates, including comprehensive cost breakdowns, material lists, and project timelines, for ongoing tracking and analysis.

Qualifications: Education:

A degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
Certification in estimating or project management is an asset.

Experience:

A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in estimating door hardware or a related field (such as construction or contracting) is required.
Strong background in door hardware systems and related technical products is highly beneficial.

Skills:

Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
Advanced knowledge of architectural plans, specifications, and door hardware systems.
Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
Exceptional communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, project teams, and vendors.
Highly detail-oriented with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Ability to interpret and apply construction documents, blueprints, and technical specifications.
Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
In-depth understanding of industry standards and building codes related to door hardware.
Experience with door hardware installation processes.
Familiarity with product lines from leading door hardware manufacturers.
Project management or leadership experience is considered a plus.
