Your Opportunity We are looking for a Building and Civil Engineer who will be responsible for providing Architectural, Building and Civil Engineering technical support and advice to the Estates Management Department. The estates department provides maintenance to 12 buildings and in excess of 93,000m2 of GFA. The ideal candidate should have the ability to multi-task and manage various tasks, along with good communication skills, excellent organisation, and proven analytical capability in problem-solving. This role is part of the Operations team and will be based in our Paris Sorbonne University contract. Key Accountabilities

To provide technical support and advice in Architectural, Building and Civil Engineering maintenance techniques.
Carry out regular and planned building fabric inspections and condition surveys of all the buildings on the University Campus Facilities.
Support the specialist contractors in carrying out technical inspections of the campus structural steel feature roof.
Form a key member of the Estates Management Project Team providing B&CE technical support to all refurbishment and new works projects, including feasibility studies, preparing Scope of Works and Specifications, assisting with producing RFPs & ITTs, and supervising the delivery of works onsite.
Provide space planning requirements for the University on behalf of the Estates Department.
Assist with the management of the FF&E Asset Management.

Specific Requirements

Ideally holder of a degree or diploma in a relevant engineering or architectural discipline.
Minimum 5 years plus experience in maintaining and delivering MEP services.
Understanding of Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
