Position Overview : We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Account Director to lead and manage a portfolio of high-profile clients. The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing and implementing innovative investor relations strategies, nurturing client relationships, and driving the success of client accounts. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a focus on strategic communication and leadership. Key Responsibilities : Maintain constant communication with clients to ensure continuous knowledge of upcoming releases and events. Develop and execute comprehensive investor relations and communication strategies tailored to client goals. Manage and lead client accounts, ensuring exceptional service delivery and relationship management. Advise C-suite executives and Boards on market positioning, investor engagement, and corporate messaging. Oversee the preparation and dissemination of ASX announcements, Investor Presentations, Quarterly Reports, and Annual Reports. Collaborate with internal teams (copywriters, designers, digital marketers) to create compelling content and collateral. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to provide strategic insights to clients. Coordinate investor roadshows, AGMs, media briefings, and other stakeholder engagement activities. Foster relationships with investors, analysts, and media representatives to enhance client visibility. Mentor and guide junior team members, contributing to their professional development and performance. Qualifications : Previous experience in investor relations, corporate communications, or financial PR. Demonstrated expertise in managing ASX-listed company accounts or equivalent, particularly in the resource / mining and technology sectors. Strong understanding of capital markets, corporate finance, and regulatory requirements. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to craft clear, concise messaging. Strategic thinker with a results-driven approach and a track record of delivering client success. Strong leadership and project management skills, capable of handling multiple priorities. Established network within the investment community, media, and industry stakeholders is a plus. Bonus Points : Ability to use Canva, Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop / In Design or other design programs for editing and drafting. Ability to deep dive into commodities’ markets and analyse trends and influences. Familiarity with Asana / Monday, Hubspot, Mailchimp and other common platforms.
