Job Description AtkinsRéalis is looking for a Facilities Manager with 15 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field to join the NEOM client site in KSA. This position reports to the Senior Manager (Accommodation and Facilities) and will be responsible for overseeing the auditing and monitoring activities within NEOM THE LINE Hub Office Facilities. The Facilities Manager (FM) will develop and implement audit plans, evaluate internal and external controls, assess risk, and ensure contractors and service providers comply with laws and regulations. Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement audit plans to evaluate the effectiveness of the contractor’s internal controls, risk management, and governance processes.
  • Develop and implement monitoring programs to ensure ongoing compliance with laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
  • Conduct regular audits of various O&M services provided by third-party contractors, such as janitorial services, landscaping, and building maintenance.
  • Monitor the performance of O&M service providers to ensure they meet their performance targets and quality standards.
  • Provide guidance to organization staff and O&M service providers on audit, fraud prevention, and monitoring procedures.
  • Identify areas of risk and recommend strategies to mitigate those risks.
  • Monitor the implementation of corrective actions and work with O&M service providers to meet corrective action targets and ensure compliance with audit recommendations.
  • Provide guidance and training to the Facilities Supervisor on audit and monitoring procedures.
  • Work with external auditors and regulatory agencies as necessary.
  • Prepare audit reports, including findings, recommendations, and action plans, and present them to senior management and audit committees.
  • Maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to promote effective communication and collaboration.
  • Maintain customer confidence by ensuring confidentiality of company data as required.
  • Analyze, summarize, and interpret data; make appropriate recommendations and decisions related to document management, write reports, and give oral presentations as required.
  • Plan, organize, prioritize, and perform multiple tasks to perform job functions in an orderly manner.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Participate in meetings and communicate updates and information to team members and other stakeholders as needed.
  • Stay up to date with industry developments, changes in regulations, and best practices in auditing and monitoring.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
  • Strong knowledge of principles and processes involved in facility management, auditing, and monitoring as well as regulatory requirements.
  • Previous experience in managing and conducting audits of financial statements and operational processes.
  • Knowledge of financial industry regulations and compliance practices.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and industry best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with an ability to provide detailed advice and solutions for remedying failures in service delivery.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with an ability to articulate clearly and concisely. English proficiency is required.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite, databases, and audit management software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires handling multiple tasks at a given time and rapidly adapting to changing priorities and schedules.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
  • Cross-cultural sensitivity with an international perspective.
  • Professional maturity and irreproachable integrity are obligatory.
Qualifications:
  • A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CIA, or CFE) preferred. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum fifteen (15) years’ experience in facility management, auditing, and monitoring.
