Location: Dhahran Job Purpose The Royal Saudi Air Force currently has a vacancy for a Supervisor Type II located at King Abdualaziz Air Base, Dhahran. You will be responsible for the calibration production and training tasks for the Secondary Calibration Squadron, functioning as the focal point for the operation and performance of the technical staff assigned to the Secondary Calibration Squadron and is able to provide calibration, training advice and technical solutions to the Customer (RSAF). The Supervisor reports directly to the Superintendent Type II Calibration Squadron. You will be expected to be proactive in prioritising workload, excellent organisational skills, show initiative and establish successful working relationships with the RSAF. JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Provide Metrology measurement, technical, logistical and strategic support to the Superintendent Type II in the management of the Calibration Laboratory ensuring that operations are performed in accordance with RSAF QM 4-7702, and other appropriate RSAF directives.
- Perform laboratory and department administration and management of resources and staff under your control to ensure the timely and efficient accomplishment of the task in accordance with established procedures.
- Ensure that laboratory standards are maintained in good working order, with valid traceability appropriate to the calibration task, and that on-site calibrations and/or repairs are performed in a professional manner.
- Actively recommend Metrology improvements to the Superintendent Type II and the Calibration Squadron Commander. Liaise and communicate with RSAF Officers and Contractor personnel on calibration and lateral support requirements to determine capability requirements for the Secondary Calibration Squadron, KAAB.
- Motivate and encourage staff to achieve high levels of performance and quality and to develop personal skills and job knowledge. This would include, but not limited to, the reporting and administration of attendance and sickness, leave planning, appearance, discipline and general welfare of subordinate staff.
- Attend and actively participate in meetings, or other activities as deemed necessary by the Calibration Squadron Commander to help promote a better understanding of Metrology within the Royal Saudi Air Force.
