Responsibilities:
- Analyze, Design and deploy security solutions to enhance Copart’s network security.
- Implement Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) and become a subject matter expert in the technology.
- Work with cross functional teams across Copart to plan, build and deliver a robust security solution.
- Review existing network and security controls in place, identify gaps and provide guidance on remediating them.
- Develop and implement network security policies, procedures, and standards which adhere to industry best practices.
- Draft and Maintain extensive documentation as it relates to projects.
- Engage in troubleshooting with end users to identify and resolve issues.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging threats, and advancements in network security technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in network security, Infrastructure Security or related roles.
- Strong understanding of network models (OSI, TCP/IP), network ports & protocols and network infrastructure.
- Experience working with Firewalls, VPN and IDS/IPS.
- Experience working with Secure Web Gateway, Cloud-based Proxy & Security Broker and VPN technologies and configuration.
- Network troubleshooting using inbuild network commands as well as external tools such as Wireshark, tcpdump, etc.
- Prior experience working with ZTNA / SASE products such as offered by Zscaler, Netskope, Palo Alto, Perimeter81, Cisco etc.
- Experience working with various endpoint and server Operating systems such as Windows, Linux, Mac, iOS and Android.
- Basic scripting knowledge in languages such as Python or PoweShell.
- Certification such as Network+, Security+, CCNA, etc.
- Understanding and knowledge of authentication systems such as AD, SSO, etc.
- Knowledge of Cloud platforms related to Network Security (Azure, AWS or GCP).
- Prior Security Engineering or similar experience.
