Job Title: Sales Head SMB/ Retail / Corporate Job Purpose: Responsible for leading and guiding a team of sales people in the organization. Set sales goals, build a sales plan, analyze data, assign sales training and sales territories, and mentor the members of the sales team. Maintenance of partner and vendor relationships. - Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients/partners through regular engagement like sales workshops, seminars, and playing an active role in industry organizations.
- Addressing partner concerns on priority and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Supporting customers for sell-out strategies and keeping them updated on product availability, pricing, incoming and tentative stocks.
- Identify and develop new markets/services/products for growth and increasing the profitability of business.
- Strategize, define, and implement regional sales plans for short and long-term objectives.
- Network with vendors, customers, and competitors through regular visits to understand and monitor brand trends and market forecasts for business opportunities/challenges.
- Conceptualize events, plans, and engagements along with the marketing team to attain the objectives set by vendors and partners.
- Stay updated about the partner community and identify possible weak and strong links in the value chain.
- Analyze regional market trends and discover new opportunities for growth.
- Meet organizational/departmental goals and KPIs.
- Attend vendor/partner events, seminars, and key meetings.
- Manage credit parameters with partners through internal team cohesion with all relevant departments, as credit is a vital parameter.
- Maintain reports on sell-out and stock-on-hand of partners.
- Monitor payment and debit reconciliation, over dues, debit clearance, credit notes, and zero bad debt.
- Work with different stakeholders to ensure seamless flow of transactions and reengineer processes to uphold the interests of all parties.
- Take responsibility for and drive team performance.
- Work with account management plans with sales account managers.
- Motivate, mentor, and coach team members on performance and individual growth areas.
