Knittex Garments is looking for a QA Supervisor to manage and enforce quality control measures across the production process, ensuring adherence to buyer specifications. The role focuses on maintaining high-quality standards, reducing rework costs, and improving overall operational efficiency. Job Responsibilities:
- Enforce quality standards in line with buyer specifications, industry regulations, and company policies.
- Ensure all products meet quality benchmarks before shipment.
- Adhere to international quality assurance guidelines and certifications (e.g., ISO, AQL).
- Supervise quality control processes from raw material inspection to final product evaluation.
- Regularly update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance quality control measures.
- Conduct pre-production assessments to verify material and process compliance.
- Perform final inspections to ensure consistency and adherence to buyer requirements.
- Identify potential quality risks and analyze root causes of defects.
- Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality concerns effectively.
- Provide training to enhance quality awareness across departments.
- Coordinate between QA and production teams to streamline quality processes.
- Address quality challenges proactively and implement quick resolutions.
- Lead and oversee QA/QC teams to ensure effective inspection and testing.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Develop preventive strategies to reduce defects and lower rework costs.
- Experience: 4-7 years in quality assurance within the textile or apparel industry, with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Textile Engineering or a related field); an MBA is a plus.
