Job Description for Business Development Lead @ CloudTV Ads About Us : CloudTV is a leading SmartTV Operating System dedicated to revolutionizing the television experience. Our platform integrates the latest technology with user-friendly interfaces, offering unparalleled entertainment options to our users. As we expand our offerings and reach, we are looking for a dynamic and experienced professional to lead our Ad Monetisation department. Location : Mumbai or Delhi. Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Strategy

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive ad. monetisation roadmap and strategy to align with our company's goals.
  • P&L Responsibility.
  • Lead the Ad Monetisation department, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
  • Drive revenue growth through innovative advertising solutions.
  • Competitor benchmarking and sizing up revenue opportunities at various touchpoints.
Business Development
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with advertisers, brands and agencies.
  • Create and execute a business plan for selling ads. inventory.
  • Negotiate commercials and contracts to close deals with key stakeholders in the advertising industry.
Operational Management
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Ad Monetisation department.
  • Manage ad inventory, ensuring optimal fill rates and revenue.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics, making data-driven decisions to enhance profitability.
Team Growth & Development
  • Plan and scale the team as the business grows.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor team members to ensure high performance.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.
  Qualifications :
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience of 5 years in ad monetisation, preferably within the OTT, CTV or digital media industry.
  • Strong business acumen with a track record of developing and executing successful ad sales strategies.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and grow a team.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
