Chief Financial Officer

Overall Purpose/Objective: The CFO provides strategic direction and financial guidance to the organization by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing financial and accounting policies, procedures, and controls aligned with international standards. The CFO ensures fund availability to execute business plans smoothly, implements sound financial management to maximize investment returns, smoothen cash flows, optimize capital structure, and minimize risk exposure. Qualification: · Chartered Accountant (CA)· Additional MBA is advantageous Experience: · Over 20 years of experience, with at least 10 years with Listed company in senior roles within mid-cap or large-cap organizations. Special Skills/Attributes: · Proficiency in various accounting laws and regulations · General accounting, bookkeeping management, consolidation of accounts & closures · Experience of fundraising through debt/equity and other instruments · Knowledge of performance reporting, budgeting processes, expense monitoring, and control · Expertise in Income Tax & GST (Direct & Indirect Taxation)· Understanding of Financial Risk Management frameworks · Skills in Financial Analysis & Control, Budgetary Control, and Cost Optimization (including Funds & Cash Flow Management)· Strategic thinking, negotiation skills, and analytical abilities Key Responsibilities: Financial Forecasting, Fund Raising, and Investor Relations: · The CFO plays a key role in budgeting, forecasting, and planning for future financial needs, guiding the business towards long-term success. · Raise funds through Bank/ NBFC and other institutional investors as needed · Optimize debt and working capital structures to minimize interest costs · Monitor cash flows to maintain healthy liquidity and short-term sustainability · Develop and implement a strategic investor relations program to encourage a stable investor base · Recommend and implement communication strategies for optimal positioning in the financial community · Lead investor meetings, conferences, and roadshows · Secure financing for various projects, ensuring favourable capital costs · Drive short, medium, and long-term financial planning for business units Strategic Decision-Making: · Responsible for creating Corporate Strategy for identifying and executing Corporate Actions for overall growth. · Creating strategic framework for M&A opportunities, Leading negotiations & DD on M&A Targets along with execution. Risk Management: · The CFO identifies and manages financial risks, such as currency fluctuations, interest rate changes, or economic downturns, to protect the company’s assets. Legal and Secretarial: · Ensure compliance with corporate legal and secretarial obligations. · Oversee corporate governance and regulatory compliance for all group entities. Accounting & Taxation: · Enhance internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures related to financial controls and accounting · Ensure accurate and timely financial statements through established practices and procedures · Oversee timely consolidation of books of accounts · Ensure compliance with accounting and reporting standards · Collaborate with leadership for financial planning and budgeting · Ensure timely tax compliance and optimize tax planning · Provide financial health updates to the Board based on accounting statements Overall, the CFO ensures the financial health of the company while providing strategic insights to support decision-making and growth compensation : Attractive between Rs.2.25 to 3.00 cr
