Job Description - Pans & Scheduling Supervisor (00124366) Grade: 7 JOB PURPOSE BAE Systems is the UK Government’s nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) aircraft and train RSAF and Royal Saudi Naval Force personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons. BAE Systems Saudi Arabia is committed to supporting the Saudi Arabian National Agenda including Saudisation and the training and development of Saudi National capability through the growth of the Saudi National Partner Companies thereby reinforcing Industrialisation and Partnerships. This role is responsible for the supervision of all Planning and Scheduling section tasking of the Hawk T165 Training Fleet maintenance requirements, ensuring compliance is met as detailed within RSAF Publications and Continuing Airworthiness Management Exposition Procedures. You will contribute to and monitor all King Faisal Air Base (KFAB) Fleet Planning Key Performance indicators (KPI’s) as instructed by Fleet Planning, Scheduling and Records Specialist/Fleet Planning Lead. Assisting with the day-to-day management, training and development of all fleet planning and scheduling personnel. Deputising for Fleet Planning, Scheduling and Records Specialist, including LM responsibilities, as required. JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Report to, be familiar with and be compliant with BAESSA Company Policies.
- Be familiar with M&CA Regulatory Framework.
- Be compliant with RSAF Policies and Procedures.
- Be compliant with Continuing Airworthiness Management Exposition.
- Report to H&AT Technical Operations.
- Report to Fleet Planning, Scheduling and Records Superintendent/Specialist.
- Ensure the Weekly and Monthly Maintenance Plan is completed, distributed and endorsed by relevant stakeholders in a timely fashion.
- Ensure Fleet Planners produce and distribute workpackages to the Aircraft Maintenance Organisation (AMO) in a timely fashion.
- Ensure a robust and flexible aircraft flying program is produced and distributed to the AMO in a timely fashion and adhered to preventing airworthiness risks.
- Maintain close liaison with Maintenance Operation Control (MOC) and Intermediate Maintenance (IM) Superintendents to ensure the maintenance tasking is completed as per agreed timeframe and aircraft flying program is being followed.
- Complete and assist with the decision making to optimise the fleet plan in line with the AMO Capabilities.
- Organise and chair the Pre/Post Input Weekly Maintenance Meeting, ensuring minutes are drafted, agreed and archived.
- Provide reporting in support of HR functions, Return to Work Interview Investigations etc.
- Communicate technical findings/evaluations and interpretations for aircraft performance analysis to line manager for escalation.
- Ensure all aircraft/component history and maintenance documentation is accurate and maintained IAW RSAF and BAESSA procedures.
- Compile aircraft & component data and statistics as requested by line management with minimal error.
- Provide leadership and motivation for assigned section personnel monitoring individual outputs remain consistent.
- Maintain effective communication to gain endorsements of Plans and Schedules from all key stakeholders at all levels in the organisation and the RSAF.
- Collaborate with the Fleet Records supervisor to process the monthly preposition ensuring all maintenance tasking has been captured.
- Provide on the job training (OJT) to new members of the fleet planning and scheduling team.
- Complete Personal Development Review of subordinates as per company policy.
- Provide assistance towards the annual process audit review when requested by line manager.
- A recognised qualification to NVQ3/ONC/OND/BTEC level in a relevant technical discipline, or a technical apprenticeship, or suitable equivalent technical qualification acceptable to M&CA.
- Part 66 licensed (current or lapsed), or suitable equivalent technical license acceptable to M&CA.
- Have extensive proven experience in a relevant (CA-or maintenance-related) role.
- Demonstrate knowledge / understanding of aircraft maintenance and engineering.
- Understanding and application of human factors, error management, health & safety and proactive hazard analysis, appropriate to the role.
- Able to describe or demonstrate a Familiar level of knowledge of Continuing Airworthiness.
- An Awareness of the aircraft types managed and the aircraft maintenance environment.
- A Familiar level of skills for fleet planning and Reliability Programme management.
- Leadership skills and proven ability to supervise personnel.
- Should have and be able to demonstrate sound oral and written two-way communication skills.
