ROLE OVERVIEW: We are seeking a Strategy Director to join our team of innovative thinkers and customer advocates. You will develop and implement strategic approaches that bring to life the craft of Precision Marketing. This involves combining precision with empathy; the precision of applied data and decisioning, combined with empathy when developing powerful creative work that moves people to action. The role requires working directly with the CEO and wider leadership team on both new business and organic growth, developing robust strategic business plans and scope recommendations, to be implemented by the wider team. KEY KPIs: Net new business conversion; current client organic growth; strategic craft that wins us awards. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Research and Insight-Hunting to Drive Customer Success Craft comprehensive customer insights, data analysis and market trends, that contribute to our strategy outputs. Brief and disseminate this information to our teams. Customer journey analysis – including aligning our multi-disciplinary practitioners (creatives, data, tech experts), extract use-cases and lead discussions on how to prioritise initiatives.
  2. Innovation Development and Ideation Develop innovative solutions to our client’s key business challenges / areas of opportunity, to drive actionable value.
  3. Workshop Facilitation and Stakeholder Management Lead ‘pitch story’ development that represents the best of RAPP, and present it.
  4. Storytelling and Presentation Create persuasive, strategic ‘selling stories’ and creative, data-driven ideas. Confidently pitch them to current and prospective clients, to generate new business.
  5. Briefing and Creative Development Confidently lead the strategic elements of the briefing process (tech and creative), inspiring fresh new creative ideas to drive our client business forward.
  6. Individualisation and Use of Data Identify specific opportunities for marketing science and the application of AI.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in data-driven / CX strategy, preferably within an agency or regional role. Also, a solid understanding of media and performance marketing.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Adobe Campaign, Hubspot or similar).
  • Strong understanding of data segmentation, customer journey mapping and marketing automation.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data insights into strategic recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a proven ability to influence clients and stakeholders.
  • Ideally, direct experience of the MENA region (3+ years), with a keen sense of consumer behaviour and preferences.
  • The ability to empathetically understand and be curious about the various cultures of the region.
  • A highly dynamic and driven individual that can work completely autonomously, but also directly with the CEO to strategically drive the business forward.
