Mechanical Project Engineer

We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer to join our Team. This is a full-time permanent role that will be predominantly based in Denmark , with rotation back to Ireland monthly. Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop mechanical system designs (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection etc.) based on the project requirements, ensuring compliance with local safety regulations.
2. Involvement in all aspects of the preconstruction stage to include health and safety, technical submissions, construction drawing production, prefabrication, building control submissions and the management of the projects commissioning phase.
3. Ensure that mechanical installations are completed to the required quality standards, conduct site inspections, review work progress, and ensure compliance with all relevant codes and regulations.
4. Provide technical guidance and support to the design review, validation and management of the design development.
5. Working closely with all project teams to ensure the schedule is being followed and excellent service delivery.
6. Manage the procurement process for each mechanical package.
7. Manage the complete interface for our contractors in relation to their specialist packages.

1. At least 3 years' experience in a similar role.
2. Mechanical Engineering Qualification.
3. Demonstrated capability in construction delivery.
4. IT proficient, including CAD & MS Office.
5. Exceptional time management skills, for both prioritising workload and meeting strict deadlines.
6. QHSE knowledge.
