Responsibilities

Port the data processing chain for radars and multi-sensor systems from MATLAB to GPU/CPU for real-time implementation.
Design, implement, test, and evaluate the multi-target tracking framework for multi-sensor systems over CPU/GPU.
Perform requirement analysis and system design for high performance, latency constrained, parallel processing of data processing algorithms over CPU/GPU.
Work independently and in a team to design software architecture and data exchange protocols to implement, test, and evaluate complex data processing and data fusion algorithms in CUDA, C/C++.
Convert user requirements to software specifications.
Document the design and implementation of processing algorithms.
Design and develop high fidelity simulations to test and evaluate the performance of data processing and data fusion algorithms in real-time.
Upgrade, integrate, and test data processing blocks in the real-time processing chain of multi-sensor systems.
Develop test plans and participate in field measurement campaigns to collect real data and test real-time implementation of the data processing algorithms over real field data.
Participate in field trials to verify the conformance of ported algorithms to system specifications.

Skills

Solid background in computer architecture, software architecture, and optimization techniques for real-time implementation of complex algorithms.
Solid background in parallel processing and CUDA programming.
Hands-on experience in designing software architecture and implementing algorithms over custom embedded systems including CPU, GPU, and microcontrollers.
Working experience in C/C++ based real-time implementation.
Working experience in CUDA programming.
Working experience in microcontroller programming.
Working experience in project management and systems engineering of technology development projects.
Motivated to learn and acquire new skills.
Mentor technical team members and new trainees.
