Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments of materials and parts for quality and accuracy.
- Organize and store materials in the warehouse, ensuring accessibility and proper inventory control.
- Use the ERP system to track inventory levels, manage material receipts, and update stock records.
- Pick and kit materials for production orders, ensuring timely and accurate material issuance to the production floor.
- Issue materials to production teams based on work orders or production schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of materials received, issued, and in stock, ensuring data is updated in real-time via the ERP system.
- Assist with inventory audits and cycle counts, ensuring stock levels align with physical inventory.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure the timely availability of materials and avoid delays in production.
- Ensure a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Lift materials and packages up to 50 lbs as necessary during receiving, kitting, and shipping processes.
- Proficient in using ERP systems for warehouse management, inventory tracking, receiving, and material issuance.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and best practices in material handling.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively coordinate with internal teams.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.
- Associate’s Degree/Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or material handling, ideally within a manufacturing or similar environment.
