TIG & ARC Welder

Job Description

1. Read and interpret blueprints and/or drawings to determine the specific welding requirements, MIG, and TIG weld steel, aluminum, and stainless steel components based on the specifications of the blueprints and/or drawings for the tube.
2. Weld and repair door assemblies and sub-components using the GTAW – Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (TIG) and GMAW - Gas Metal Arc Welding (MIG) processes to meet customer and internal quality standards.
3. Weld small and large components such as copper plumbing, beams, and pipelines.
4. Use specialized machinery for industrial welding and oversee machines that perform the same job.
5. Maintain and repair all machinery.
6. Assess welded surfaces, structures, and components to identify errors.
7. Follow and enforce strict safety regulations such as wearing heat-resistant gloves, protective masks, and safety shoes.
8. Monitor machinery for appropriate usage and temperature.
9. Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.
10. Initiate a Preventive Action Request when he realizes there is a chance of failure in the system.
11. Assist with cleaning the workshop, tools, facilities, and equipment.
12. Provide labor services as required.
13. Up and download material and equipment.
14. Maintain the working area clean.
15. Regular check-ups on machines and tools.
16. Reduce the wastage/scrap.
17. Report product malfunctions.
18. Adhere to safety regulations.
