ASMO is a groundbreaking joint venture between DHL and Aramco. Inheriting DHL's logistics excellence and Aramco's extensive supply chain ecosystem, we are here to set a new benchmark and redefine the procurement and supply chain landscape, enabling growth. ASMO aims to be operational in 2025 and provide reliable end-to-end integrated procurement and supply chain services for companies across the industrial, energy, chemical, and petrochemical sectors. Our focus customers in the short term will be Saudi Aramco and its Affiliates. In the long term, all the industrial sectors within Saudi Arabia aim to reach the MENA region. Objective: The Warehouse Management System Analyst (Warehouse Key-User) is responsible for managing and analysing the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to support ASMO's logistics operations. They act as a bridge between the technical aspects of the system and the end-users, ensuring smooth adoption and effective utilization. This role increases resources and knowledge, enables end-user training programs, provides first-line on-site support, and ensures the successful deployment and long-term benefits of the ASMO BY WMS. The WMS Analyst works closely with the Logistics Solutions Manager to optimize warehouse processes, improve system functionality, and ensure efficient inventory management. General Responsibilities:

  • Support the configuration, implementation, and optimization of the WMS based on operational needs.
  • Act as the first point of contact for WMS-related issues, troubleshooting, and providing timely resolutions to end-users.
  • Conduct end-user training and create relevant documentation to enhance system adoption and effective use.
  • Monitor the performance and functionality of the WMS, identifying opportunities for process and system improvements.
  • Collaborate with the Logistics Solutions Manager to develop and implement strategies for efficient inventory management and warehouse operations.
  • Support the deployment and integration of the WMS within warehouse operations, ensuring alignment with operational requirements.
  • Document and maintain system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures for ongoing reference.
  • Analyse system-generated data to provide insights and recommendations for enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate with IT teams and external vendors to address advanced system issues and implement necessary updates or fixes.
  • Stay informed of advancements in warehouse management technologies and recommend improvements to ASMO's systems and processes.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Information Systems, or a related field from a recognized and accredited university.
  • Certifications or training in WMS solutions or logistics management (e.g., SAP EWM, Manhattan WMS) preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management systems or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics processes.
  • Proven experience in training and supporting end-users in the adoption of technical systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex system issues.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and familiarity with tools used for reporting and system monitoring.
  • Ability to work on-site and provide hands-on support for warehouse operations.
