ASMO is a groundbreaking joint venture between DHL and Saudi Aramco. Inheriting DHL's logistics excellence and Saudi Aramco's extensive supply chain ecosystem, we are here to set a new benchmark and redefine the procurement and supply chain landscape, enabling growth. ASMO aims to be operational in 2025 and provide reliable end-to-end integrated procurement and supply chain services for companies across the industrial, energy, chemical, and petrochemical sectors. Our focus customers in the short term will be Saudi Aramco and its Affiliates. In the long term, all the industrial sectors within Saudi Arabia aim to reach the MENA region. Objective: AMSO's unique value proposition to the customer is to increase efficiency and productivity, while lowering cost and inventory levels. The role holder plays a critical role and is responsible for developing and executing demand and forecast plans to meet customer requirements. The role conducts analysis that identifies internal and external trends and factors that determine demand and thus empowering forecasting decisions. General Responsibilities:

  • Utilize statistical analysis and modelling techniques to generate accurate demand forecasts for spare parts.
  • Analyse historical data, demand drivers, and market trends to identify patterns and forecast future demand.
  • Monitor and report on demand forecast accuracy (and other KPIs like forecast bias) and adjust forecasting models as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights for demand forecasting.
  • Liaise with customer to understand key drivers and evaluate opportunities to jointly collaborate to improve forecasts
  • Support the development and implementation of demand planning strategies and processes.
  • Maintain and update demand forecasting systems and tools.
  • Conduct regular reviews and audits of demand forecasting processes to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members on demand forecasting techniques and tools.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in demand forecasting.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field from a recognized and accredited university is required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written English.
  • 1-3 years experience in similar or related field.
