Senior R&D INNOVATOR | BRAS N THINGS | PYRMONT This is a newly created opportunity for an R&D Innovator to join our business and work with an extremely passionate and highly skilled team. This role delivers new fabric platforms and concepts that support the strategic growth initiatives and the creation of breakthrough products that drive equity and long term growth. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Managing seasonal developments including new fabrics, prints and trims
2. Managing test reports on new materials
3. Developing key industry contacts to improve product knowledge and maximise application of technology
4. Setting standards and ensure consistency in fabric and trim standards
5. Driving R&D projects to ensure timelines are met and product brief achieved
6. Working closely with the inspirational design team and our teams in Asia to ensure clear communication on all projects

What experience do I have:

• Experienced at developing product for a market leading Brand in a fast-paced business
• Experience researching and creating new original ideas and unique IP
• Experience working across cross functional teams and tight deadlines
• High skill level and knowledge in the principles of textile technology and textile manufacturing, and be able to apply this knowledge to create new innovation (such as new fibres, yarns, knitting, dyeing, print techniques, fabric properties and garment finishing techniques)
