We provide high-quality, sustainable and eco-friendly sun protective swimwear and beachwear made with UV50+ European fabrics that are lightweight, quick-drying, chlorine and saltwater-resistant. Role Description We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced and detail-oriented production controller to join our team. The Production Controller will be responsible for supervising production processes, planning production schedules, utilizing analytical skills to optimize workflows, communicating with team members, and managing overall production operations. Duties/Responsibilities Production Planning and Monitoring
- Oversees the day-to-day workflow of production staff.
- Oversees the production process to ensure delivery of high-quality products that meet customer needs.
- Develop, monitor, and update production schedules for pre-book and non-pre-book orders.
- Uses production planning and scheduling to limit materials shortages.
- Identifies any bottlenecks or delays in production; ensures necessary labor, materials, and other resources are available to relieve production bottlenecks and delays.
- Communicates updated timelines and delivery schedules with the sales team.
- Oversees sorting, packaging, and completion of production tasks.
- Analyze demand for fast-moving accessories, raw white and black fabrics, and finished goods.
- Plan quantity and timing of procurement for Accessories and Fabric for production.
- Ensure adequate stock levels through replenishment and inventory checks.
- Calculate AOP, fabric, and accessory requirements using MRP reports.
- Create pricing file on ERP.
- Monitor stock levels for current and standard lines, ensuring replenishment based on sales projection.
- Schedule additional production if required and ensure warehouse is stocked appropriately.
- Ensure system inventory is accurate to physical by working with the Finance department and your team to conduct physical stock counts.
- Manage production staff.
- Provide support for tasks like creating barcodes, Techpacks, and stock movement files.
- Conduct regular meetings with team members to align goals and resolve issues.
- Be the main driver for checklists ensuring that pending tasks are completed by the respective team members.
- Collaborate with the sales & design departments to identify and resolve quality concerns.
- Conduct regular shop floor visits to ensure smooth operations across cutting, printing, stitching, and packing sections.
- Address any production-related issues promptly and propose improvements.

- Plan inbound logistics efficiently to minimize shortages and reduce costs.
- Monitor stock levels for current and standard lines, ensuring replenishment based on production planning, MSLs and sales projections.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in production or as a senior finance team member, preferably in clothing or textiles manufacturing. We will consider candidates with CIMA qualifications who have worked in other areas.
- Minimum 2 years experience in the UAE.
- Previous experience with systems used during production or Finance systems is beneficial.
- Must be sharp, deadline-focused and motivated.
- A very strong knowledge of Pivot Table, Vlookup, SumIf and other more complex formulas is needed. This skill will be tested at the interview stage and will be used daily.
- Strong analytical skills and aptitude for working with large amounts of data and figures. Enjoy numeric data analysis to achieve improved results. Understand how systems talk to each other and be responsible for data integration.
- Apparel and fabric manufacturing economics and operations management (i.e., lead-times, transit times, garment and fabric construction and apparel manufacturing operations).
- Proficiency in production planning, resource allocation, and MRP (Material Requirements Planning).
- Ability to interpret and manage BOMs (Bill of Materials) and production schedules.
- Effective project management, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) and ERP systems.
- Ability to forge strong relations with stakeholders at all levels, acting as an ambassador to ensure a professional and customer-friendly profile for the department.
- Strong time management ability to prioritize tasks, organize and meet deadlines when working on multiple projects.
