Objectives of Position- Provides procurement transaction processing support to deliver procurement services identified within the Procurement Services to BASF group companies in accordance with established policies, guidelines, processes and work procedures, which are in compliance with BASF procurement policies and local company legal and statutory requirements.
- Work closely with other service delivery streams to ensure smooth purchase-to-pay integration.
- Help assign suppliers for Purchase Requisitions.
- Assist buyers in creating Purchase Orders based on agreed terms.
- Monitor Purchase Orders in the system, ensuring supplier confirmations are received.
- Communicate with suppliers to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Create and maintain outline agreements in SAP based on agreed terms and conditions such as price, header validity, and target quantity.
- Assist buyers to create and maintain outline agreements, E-Catalogs in SAP as per the agreed terms and conditions.
- Help resolve discrepancies with invoices and liaise with the Finance team.
- Assist in tracking goods receipt issues and helping internal teams with solutions.
- Assist with updating and maintaining vendor data.
- Ensure usage and support implementation of globally defined processes to drive operational excellence (e.g. Procurement Guidelines, Work Instructions etc.).
- Perform any other duties or tasks as assigned by Manager or Team Specialist.
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree preferably in Business Administration / Supply Chain Management / Logistics / Procurement.
- Functional knowledge and skills in using Microsoft applications, i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- SAP skills will be of an added advantage.
- Good analytical, organizational, communication, interpersonal skills and high sense of responsibility.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Open to commit for 4-6 month duration.
- Knowledge of any other Asian language will be an added advantage.
