The role of a Human Capital Generalist will be far from one-dimensional. The candidate will be required to support the Human Capital Department’s operations to ensure smooth and efficient business operations. The Human Capital Generalist will have both administrative and strategic responsibilities and will help with essential functions such as staffing, training and development, compensation, and benefits, BBBEE, and drafting HR policies. The Candidate will also act as a point of contact for employees’ queries on HR-related topics. The candidate must be proficient in various technological platforms. This will enable the candidate to bring innovative ideas to general Human Resources practices, streamlining processes, and enhancing efficiency. This skillset allows for leveraging digital tools for recruitment, performance management, employee engagement, and other HR functions, driving organizational growth and success. Requirements:
- Timeously complete and submit WSP and ATR to Construction SETA
- Ensure compliance with BCEA.
- Assist with BEE verifications.
- 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- HR diploma/degree
- Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
- Maintaining physical and digital files for employees and their documents, benefits, and attendance records
- Have a clear background of the construction industry.
