Tour Agent

Overview : We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-oriented Tour Agent to join our team. As a Tour Agent, you will play a key role in providing exceptional travel experiences to our clients, helping them plan and book their dream vacations or business trips. The ideal candidate will have a passion for travel, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of different destinations and travel services. Key Responsibilities :

1. Assist clients in planning and booking travel packages, including flights, hotels, transportation, and activities.
2. Provide expert advice on destinations, local attractions, itineraries, and travel requirements.
3. Tailor travel packages to meet individual customer preferences, needs, and budgets.
4. Offer recommendations and upsell additional services (e.g., excursions, insurance, upgrades).
5. Coordinate and confirm all travel arrangements for clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
6. Respond to customer inquiries promptly and provide exceptional customer service.
7. Maintain detailed knowledge of current travel trends, special promotions, and new destinations.
8. Handle travel changes, cancellations, and special requests.
9. Prepare and provide clients with all necessary travel documents, including itineraries and tickets.
10. Maintain accurate records of client bookings and transactions.
11. Stay up-to-date on industry regulations, safety protocols, and destination information.

1. Proven experience in the travel or tourism industry (1-2 years preferred).
2. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
4. Knowledge of popular travel destinations, hotels, and transportation options.
5. Proficient in using travel booking systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
6. Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
