We are looking for a driven and strategic Sales Manager to develop and grow our volume engine business.Job Description:
The Sales Manager will be responsible for fostering high-level relationships with our customer base and Perkins, developing and communicating our strategic vision, gaining key stakeholder alignment, and implementing strategies to drive business growth through current social and technological developments. Key Responsibilities:- Strategic Development: Develop and execute a prime strategy for the volume engine business to meet growth targets and position DiPerk as a market leader through the energy transition.
- Inventory Management: Own and control DiPerk’s prime inventory, ensuring stock levels meet customer demand while maintaining efficient stock turnover.
- Team Development: Enhance team capability and capacity to achieve annual operating plans and strategic goals, fostering positive employee engagement and developing effective succession plans.
- Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strategic relationships with customers, DiPerk, and other dealers to support the Head of DiPerk in achieving strategic success.
- Internal Collaboration: Work closely with key internal stakeholders, including Engineering, Supply Chain, Commercial, and Human Resources, to ensure a collective effort in delivering annual operating plans.
- Diesel engine knowledge in both the industrial and power generation sectors. Desirable.
- OEM organisational structures, processes and channels to market (new equipment and aftermarket).
- Proven experience in strategic business development and leadership.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
