Job Overview A dynamic opportunity has emerged for a Group Head / Senior Manager, Finance & Accounts to join a well-established conglomerate group. This pivotal role will oversee the financial consolidation and reporting for the group and its subsidiaries. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, provide financial insights to guide strategic decision-making, and lead initiatives that align with the group’s corporate strategy. Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Consolidation and Reporting
   1. Oversee the preparation and consolidation of financial reports for the group and its subsidiaries.
   2. Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial statements in compliance with local and international accounting standards.
   3. Prepare quarterly Bursa financial reporting announcements, audit committee reports, and board reports.
2. Budgeting and Performance Management
   1. Lead the group’s budgeting process, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
   2. Monitor and control budgets, analyzing variances and recommending corrective actions.
   3. Develop and implement performance management and reporting systems.
3. Treasury and Taxation
   1. Manage treasury functions, including cash flow and liquidity planning for the group.
   2. Oversee corporate taxation compliance and reporting for the group and subsidiaries.
   3. Optimize the group’s financial structure to support operational efficiency.
4. Strategic Planning and Review
   1. Facilitate strategic planning and review processes with business units.
   2. Develop and implement corporate strategies to drive long-term growth.
   3. Conduct feasibility studies for potential business opportunities and provide recommendations.
5. Leadership and Stakeholder Management
   1. Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
   2. Act as the key liaison with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies.
   3. Collaborate with Managing Directors and senior leadership to support strategic decision-making.

• ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent professional certification.
• Proven track record in financial consolidation and reporting at the group level.
• At least 10 years of experience in finance, with prior external audit experience in a Big 4 or equivalent firm would be ideal.
• Experience in managing budgeting, treasury functions, and corporate taxation.
• Strong understanding of Bursa Malaysia listing requirements and regulatory compliance.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in financial systems and tools.
• Strategic thinker with a detail-oriented and proactive approach.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
