Financial Accountant

Job Title: Financial Accountant - Mining

Location: Johannesburg, South Africa Hire Resolve's Client are seeking a dedicated and experienced Financial Accountant to join their mining company in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial accounting within the mining sector and possess excellent analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly financial statements in accordance with IFRS standards
• Perform financial analysis and reporting on key performance indicators
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting regulations and standards
• Monitor and review budgetary performance
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
• Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and budgets
• Contribute to the improvement of financial processes and systems

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial accounting, preferably within the mining industry
• Strong knowledge of IFRS standards and accounting principles
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in financial analysis software and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment

Benefits:

• Salary: R700k - R800k
