Overview: We are looking for a well experienced Project Leader with strong Project Management expertise to join our company. This role is ideal for an ambitious and driven individual who will take full ownership of projects from sales handover to customer completion. This is a customer focused position with client interaction and regular visits to clients at various site locations. The Project Lead will take commercial responsibility for projects and maintain the high level of customer service the company is known for. The team lead should be proactive, self-motivated individual with strong organizational skills, the ability to handle multiple projects, and work well both independently and in a team. Initiative, responsibility, and a strong desire to contribute to overall business success are essential. The position is for a skilled Project leader proficient in Oil and Gas projects execution. The candidate must have sound skills and knowledge in project management, engineering, managing design, and coordination with multiple stakeholders. The engineer must be proficient in delivering project engineering, documentation required for EPC and Oil & Gas customers. Ability to coordinate between different vendors, OEM and design, production teams for delivery of the project is required. Must have good experience in the Electrical, EPC, Oil and Gas field and lead a team of engineers. Responsible for delivering project engineering and coordination of medium to high complexity projects with a team. The role will be based in Birkat Al Awamir and involve visits to multiple site and project areas across Qatar. Requirements Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Carry out Handover Meetings for sales for all projects and review project requirements.
  2. Will be the customer's main contact, post order.
  3. Manage the project commercials including sales cost, material costs, labour costs and gross margin.
  4. Review Consultant Electrical Specifications, Drawings, Schematics and Layouts.
  5. Coordinate requirements with engineering with regular reviews and raise/manage customer RFI, technical submittal, drawing approvals and customer changes.
  6. Coordinate requirements with production with regular reviews on project progress, deadlines, witness testing, deliveries and site works.
  7. Identify project changes and variations and work with sales to manage costs.
  8. Coordinate with project finance to manage project invoices.
  9. Attend regular site meetings with customers for project planning, progress and site surveys.
  10. Continuous and prompt customer project correspondence.
  11. Develop customer relationships.
  12. Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, clients, and contractors.
  13. Risk management, cost control and procurement coordination.
  14. Support the project team to manage and complete job processes.
  15. Manage project sub-contractors.
  16. Attend FAT and OEM witness testing.
  17. Ensure all work complies with company and customer site Health and Safety procedures and standards.
  18. Ensure project documentation is complete, issued to customers as required and follows company processes and procedures.
  19. Prepare regular reports on project status, including progress, issues, and upcoming milestones, for presentation to project stakeholders.
  20. Prepare and issue weekly updates to management team.
  21. Prepare and issue monthly project reports to management team.
  22. QHSE policy adherence and implementation across projects.
Education & Certification:
  1. PMP in Project Management is mandatory.
  2. Electrical engineering knowledge in Switchgear industry is required.
  3. Advanced MS Office tools - Reporting, presentations skills are required.
  4. Knowledge of Scheduling Tools - Primavera, MS Projects.
  5. Process mapping skills and MS VISIO.
Additional Qualifications:
  1. ERP and Project Management Tools - PMIS, PMMT tools.
  2. Collaboration Tools (e.g., BIM 360, MS Teams, SharePoint).
Skills & Competencies:
  1. Good communication (verbal & written) & interpersonal skills.
  2. Able to demonstrate relevant work experience and a strong track record in multi-activity project management in construction or engineering.
  3. Strong project management skills, with a focus on planning, coordination, and execution.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with all parties.
  5. Collaborative mindset with the ability to work seamlessly within a multidisciplinary project team.
  6. Health & Safety Experience / Qualification.
Experience:
  1. Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  2. Relevant experience in project engineering.
  3. Minimum 10-12 years of work experience in Electrical SWG, preferably in Oil and Gas and EPC experience preferred.
  4. Proficiency in project management software and tools for scheduling, documentation, and communication.
