Supervision and Leadership:
- Lead and supervise a team of warehouse workers, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and feedback.
Inventory Management:
- Oversee the receiving, storage, and distribution of automobile spare parts.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using software.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
Operations Management:
- Plan and organize warehouse layout to optimize space utilization and operational efficiency.
- Ensure timely and accurate picking, packing, and shipping of orders.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as procurement and logistics, to ensure smooth operations.
Safety and Compliance:
- Enforce compliance with health and safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Conduct regular safety inspections and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Quality Control:
- Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure the integrity of spare parts.
- Address and resolve any issues related to damaged or defective products.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare and submit regular reports on warehouse operations, including inventory levels, order fulfillment rates, and productivity metrics.
- Maintain accurate records of all warehouse activities and transactions.
